Melbourne, Australia resident who goes by the alias, “Poopododo”, explains how he converted his traditional in-ground pool into a natural, self-sustaining swimming pond. His style differs in the way some natural swimming pools are made, in that all of the bog and aquatic plants he uses, float on the surface, allowing the roots to dangle freely into the water to absorb nutrients and waste from the fish.
