Frozen Fish Food Workshop
Learn how to make your own home-made frozen fish food during Fancy Tail Fish Farm's Frozen Fish Food Workshop, sponsored by the Central Florida Aquarium Society.
Fancy Tails Fish Farm
701 Thunderbird Hill Road
Sebring, Florida 33872
(Keep to the right once you reach the dirt road)
Thursday, December 4, 2014 @ 6pm – 9pm
This is a free workshop to attend. Simply bring one of the items listed below to contribute. We will be learning to make multiple types of food (as not all fish eat the same thing) and everyone will be able to take some home.
The farm is located about an hour south of Orlando, and has plenty of parking available. Look for the large signs along the route, and keep headed down the drive to the right as you approach the property.
*Note: When looking for seafood items, look for frozen pre-bagged, or anything on sale at the fresh stand.
Ingredients list (all uncooked, either fresh or frozen)
– white fish (cod, haddock, tilapia, etc)
– shrimp, krill, or prawns
– seafood medly (squid, mussels, clams, etc)
– beef heart
– garlic clove
– peas
– zuccini
– spinach
– cod liver oil
– spirulina powder

We will have some great prizes to give away, all food-centric, including automatic feeders from Eheim and Marineland, and dry fish foods from Tetra and Southern Delight Fish Foods.
The workshop is expected to run for just over an hour. Once the workshop concludes, we invite you to grab some complimentary hot cocoa and take a guided tour of the farm, where you can check out the fish and plant selection.
